born January 27 1943. As a child Robert suffered a series of nervous break downs due to severe stress and night terrors. Robert would continuously see his toys moving around, as if they were alive. He says that when he was 10 he witnessed one of his toys push his older brother down a flight of stairs breaking his neck and killing him. Robert spent the next 12 years of his life in an institution until his release at the age of 22. As part of his release and treatment, Robert acquired a job as a toymaker at a local factory. The toys started to follow him home and began to help him in his day to day life. He soon came to realize that this was a gift and that he could call upon his toys at any time to do anything.
